CoinDock Community Guidelines
These apply to CoinDock-operated spaces. They are also a reasonable template for a project setting up its own — each rule exists because of a specific harm.
The short version
Be accurate. Disclose your interests. Do not give financial advice. Do not promote what you cannot substantiate. And assume anyone contacting you privately claiming to be CoinDock is not.
Security rules that protect you
These matter more than the conduct rules, because they are what fraud exploits.
CoinDock will never contact you first requesting a payment, an approval, or a credential.
Nobody at CoinDock will ever ask for your seed phrase or private keys. No legitimate service has any use for them. Anyone asking is attempting theft — support, an administrator, a verification tool, a migration process, without exception.
Listing invoices appear in your authenticated account. They are never sent as a wallet address in a message.
CoinDock does not run giveaways requiring you to send funds first. Any "send X, receive 2X" is fraud.
Verify contract addresses from a project's own domain, never from a message, a reply, or a search advertisement.
If something claiming to be CoinDock breaks any of these, it is not CoinDock. Report it through coindock.online/about, reached by typing the domain.
Conduct
No financial advice
Do not tell people what to buy or sell, or when.
This is not squeamishness. Giving personalised investment advice carries regulatory obligations in most jurisdictions, and the person receiving it may act on it and lose money.
Fine: explaining how something works, sharing verifiable facts, describing what you did and why. Not fine: "you should buy this", "this is going to X", "sell before the unlock".
Disclose your interests
If you hold a token you are discussing, say so. If you are paid to promote something, say so every time — not once in a profile.
Undisclosed paid promotion is prohibited here, and in many jurisdictions it is also unlawful. It also poisons genuine advocacy: once a community learns some enthusiasm was purchased, all enthusiasm is discounted.
No price manipulation
Coordinated buying or selling to move a price, spreading false information to influence one, and organised pump activity are all prohibited and may be illegal.
This includes "we all buy at 8pm" arrangements, however casually framed.
No misrepresentation
Do not claim partnerships, audits, listings, or endorsements that do not exist. Do not impersonate CoinDock staff, a project team, or another member.
Substantiate claims
If you state something factual — a supply figure, an audit result, a listing — be able to point at where it can be verified. "Someone said" is not a source.
Keep criticism about the thing
Criticism of a project, a token, or CoinDock is welcome and useful. Personal abuse, harassment, and targeting individuals are not.
A space where criticism is suppressed tells you nothing, which defeats the point of having it.
What CoinDock does not do
For clarity, and so nothing said in our name misleads you:
- We do not publish signals, forecasts, or price predictions, and nothing here should be read as one.
- We do not endorse listed tokens. A listing means a token was verified to be what it claims. It is not a recommendation, a quality judgement, or a prediction. See coin listing requirements.
- We do not guarantee outcomes of any kind, before or after a listing.
Using these for your own project
If you are setting up community spaces, this structure transfers. The parts worth copying first:
- State plainly what you will never do. This single act defeats most attacks on your holders.
- Publish your contract address somewhere permanent on a domain you control.
- Require disclosure of paid promotion, and enforce it.
- Prohibit price talk framed as advice, which protects you as much as your members.
- Allow criticism. Suppressing it produces a channel that looks healthy and tells you nothing.

Enforcement
Guidelines nobody enforces are decoration. Ours are applied to CoinDock-operated spaces, with the emphasis on the security rules — impersonation and fraud attempts are removed on sight, because the cost of leaving one up is measured in someone's money.
